At Costa Cheese, we take great care in packaging and shipping our cheeses so that they arrive in the best possible condition.

1. Order processing

Orders placed on working days before 9:00 (CET) are generally processed the same day.
Orders placed after 9:00, during weekends or on public holidays are processed on the next working day.

2. Shipping method

Our cheeses are carefully packaged and shipped via reliable and recognized carriers. Where necessary, we use insulated packaging and cooling elements to preserve product quality during transport as much as possible.

We do our utmost to package and ship the products under optimal conditions. However, due to external factors such as temperature and transport time, we cannot guarantee the exact condition of the products upon delivery.

Delivery times provided are indicative and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control, such as delays or congestion with carriers. The risk of loss or damage to the products remains with Costa Cheese until the moment of delivery to the customer or a third party designated by the customer.

If delivery does not take place within 30 days after the conclusion of the agreement, or within a reasonable period considering the nature of the product, the customer has the right to cancel the order free of charge and receive a full refund.

3. Responsibility after delivery

Once the order has been physically delivered to the specified delivery address, the risk of loss or damage passes to the customer.

From that moment, the customer is responsible for proper storage and handling of the products, in accordance with the provided or customary storage instructions for cheese and other perishable goods.

Costa Cheese is not liable for loss of quality or damage resulting from improper storage, handling or delay after delivery.

This does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights regarding products that were already defective or not in conformity with the order at the time of delivery.

4. Delivery address

The customer is responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address.
Costa Cheese is not liable for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details.

5. Damaged or incorrect deliveries

Please check your order immediately upon receipt. To ensure a quick resolution, we kindly ask you to report any damage, defects or incorrect deliveries as soon as possible (preferably within 24 hours) via info@costacheese.es. Please include clear photos of the issue and the packaging. For perishable products such as cheese, timely reporting is essential for the assessment of the complaint.

6. Perishable products & no returns

Due to hygiene and food safety regulations, cheese and other perishable food products cannot be returned once they have been shipped.

7. Delivery delays

Costa Cheese aims to deliver within the indicated timeframe. In the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we will inform the customer as soon as possible of a new delivery date.

If a delivery is significantly delayed compared to the communicated timeframe, the customer has the right to contact us for an appropriate solution. If delivery does not take place within 30 days after the conclusion of the agreement, the customer has the right to cancel the order free of charge and receive a full refund.

8. Shipping costs

We ship orders throughout Spain. Shipping costs are calculated as follows:

  • Orders up to €40: €8.95 shipping fee

  • Orders up to €70: €4.95 shipping fee

  • Orders over €70: free shipping

Shipping costs are automatically calculated during checkout based on the delivery address and the size of the order.

In most cases: orders placed before 9:00 AM on business days will be shipped the next business day.

We reserve the right to refuse orders or to offer an alternative delivery or pickup option if necessary.
